What is CLEAR?
CLEAR 4G WiMAX is next generation mobile internet from Clearwire that works as fast around town as it does in your own home. Because CLEAR covers a wide area you don’t have to search and find a WiFi hotspot to get high speed internet. The hotspot goes with you, anywhere CLEAR has coverage!
Why CLEAR?
CLEAR 4G mobile internet is 4 times faster than 3G. With CLEAR you can do the same things with the Internet on the go that you are used to doing at home with DSL or Cable internet. But it’s wireless! Stream a video while you are on a train, email a huge presentation from the park, or play online games anywhere in the CLEAR coverage area.
What is 4G?
Today’s mobile networks were mostly designed for marking voice calls using 3G or Third Generation technology. However, the CLEAR 4G WiMAX network is being built with the internet in mind (using 4G technology). What does that mean? That means service that goes beyond toadys 2G, 3G, or even Wi-Fi hotspots. Expect super fast internet for email, videos, music downloads, gaming, and whatever you use the internet for.
Do I need professional installation?
Absolutely not! CLEAR utilizes plug and play technology which allows you to set up your internet or voice service in minutes. All of our equipment comes with a simple start up guide that doesn’t require a rocket scientist to translate for you.
Where can I use my CLEAR service?
You can use your CLEAR service anywhere in the country where there is a CLEAR network. We currently offer service in over 50 cities and plan to be in over 80 cities by the end of 2010. Our network is constantly growing so be sure and check back often for coverage updates.
When will I receive my equipment?
We ship all equipment via UPS overnight delivery. You should have your order within 24 hours as long as the order is received by 3pm PST Monday through Friday.
